Responsibilities
- Manage complex pension plan administration including participant inquiries, benefit calculations, and retirement processing during overnight shifts
- Ensure strict compliance with IRS regulations, ERISA guidelines, and Indiana state pension laws
- Process nightly pension transactions, reconciliations, and data integrity checks
- Collaborate with day-shift teams for seamless cross-functional coverage and issue resolution
- Maintain secure documentation and audit trails for overnight pension activities
- Respond to urgent participant inquiries and system alerts during off-hours
- Support monthly/yearly pension reporting cycles with overnight data processing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years pension administration or retirement plan experience
- Deep knowledge of ERISA, IRS 401(k)/457 regulations, and Indiana pension statutes
- Proven ability to work independently during overnight shifts with minimal supervision
- Advanced proficiency in pension management software (e.g., Millennium, Empower)
- Government security clearance eligibility (background check required)
