Responsibilities
- Administer federal pension plans and retirement benefits for government employees
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, IRS, and OPM regulations
- Process benefit enrollments, changes, and retiree payouts weekly
- Conduct pension plan audits and resolve discrepancies
- Advise employees on retirement planning and options
- Collaborate with HR teams in Austin and Ohio offices
- Prepare monthly reports for OPM leadership review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, HR, or related field
- 3+ years of pension plan administration experience
- Federal government or large corporate benefits background preferred
- Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., PeopleSoft)
- Strong knowledge of ERISA, IRS 401(k), and OPM regulations
- U.S. citizenship required for federal clearance
- Excel certification and advanced data analysis skills
- Ability to travel between Austin and Ohio offices quarterly
