Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audits of multi-employer pension plans to ensure ERISA compliance
- Investigate and resolve complex pension plan violations and fiduciary breaches
- Develop regulatory guidance materials for plan sponsors and trustees
- Collaborate with legal teams on enforcement actions and litigation support
- Monitor emerging pension legislation and recommend policy adjustments
- Provide technical assistance to state pension agencies and industry stakeholders
- Lead outreach initiatives promoting pension plan transparency and participant rights
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, Law, or related field
- 5+ years of pension plan administration or regulatory compliance experience
- Expertise in ERISA, PBGC regulations, and multi-employer pension systems
- Professional certification (e.g., CEBS, ASA, or JD) preferred
- Strong analytical skills with experience in complex financial data analysis
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
