Responsibilities
- Assist members with inquiries regarding pension eligibility, vesting schedules, and benefit calculations.
- Process and maintain accurate records of employee retirement contributions and personal data.
- Coordinate with the HR department to ensure compliance with state and federal government regulations.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and forms related to pension disbursements and updates.
- Provide exceptional customer service to retirees and active employees via phone, email, and in-person.
- Assist in the annual reconciliation of pension funds and documentation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; an associate's degree in Business, Finance, or Public Administration is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- No prior experience in pensions is required; full training will be provided.
