Responsibilities
- Process 911 and non-emergency calls with exceptional accuracy and empathy
- Coordinate emergency services (police, fire, EMS) during critical incidents
- Maintain detailed call logs and incident reports in CAD/RMS systems
- Provide clear, concise radio communication to field units
- Operate multi-channel radio systems and emergency alert platforms
- Execute emergency protocols during natural disasters and major incidents
- Train in multi-tasking and prioritization during high-volume call periods
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (college degree preferred)
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license
- Ability to pass background check, polygraph, and psychological evaluation
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Fluency in English and Spanish (bilingual candidates highly valued)
- Exceptional listening and de-escalation skills
- Ability to remain calm under extreme pressure
- US citizenship and Texas residency required
