Responsibilities
- Receive and prioritize emergency/non-emergency calls via 911 and administrative lines
- Accurately document call information in CAD/RMS systems
- Coordinate field units during critical incidents using radio communication
- Provide pre-arrival medical instructions via EMD protocols
- Maintain situational awareness during multi-agency operations
- Execute emergency notification procedures for Amber/Silver Alerts
- Operate multi-channel radio systems and specialized equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 18 years of age
- U.S. citizenship or legal resident status
- Pass background investigation and polygraph examination
- Ability to type 35+ WPM with accuracy
- Clear speaking voice and exceptional communication skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- No felony convictions or domestic violence charges
