Responsibilities
- Process 911 calls and non-emergency dispatch requests with accuracy and urgency
- Operate computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems and radio equipment
- Coordinate field units during emergency and non-emergency situations
- Maintain detailed logs of all communications and incident reports
- Provide clear and concise instructions to callers and responders
- Collaborate with law enforcement, fire, and medical teams
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and procedural protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to type 40+ WPM (testing required post-application)
- U.S. citizenship and valid Arizona driver's license
- Pass comprehensive background check and polygraph examination
- Ability to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong multitasking and decision-making abilities
- Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn specialized systems
