Responsibilities
- Receive, prioritize, and dispatch emergency/non-emergency calls for police, fire, and medical services
- Operate multi-channel radio systems and CAD (Computer-Aided Dispatch) software
- Maintain accurate logs of all communications and incident details
- Provide clear, concise instructions to callers and field personnel during critical incidents
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during major emergencies
- Adhere to strict protocols for sensitive information and crisis management
- Participate in continuous training to maintain certification standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Ability to multitask effectively in high-pressure situations
- Exceptional communication and active listening skills
- Basic computer proficiency with willingness to learn specialized systems
- Must pass extensive background check, polygraph, and drug screening
- Valid Arizona driver's license
- Minimum age 21 (per Arizona POST requirements)
- Fluency in English (bilingual Spanish a plus)
