Responsibilities
- Process 911 and non-emergency calls with exceptional speed and accuracy
- Coordinate resources between police, fire, and EMS agencies during emergencies
- Maintain detailed records in CAD/RMS systems while adhering to protocols
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques during high-stress situations
- Operate radio equipment and emergency notification systems
- Train in multi-jurisdictional incident command procedures
- Participate in continuous skills development and scenario-based training
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM (verified by test)
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and polygraph examination
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Exceptional communication and active listening skills
- Ability to remain calm under extreme pressure
- Basic computer literacy and data entry proficiency
- No felony convictions and clean drug history
