Responsibilities
- Process 911 calls and prioritize emergency dispatches using CAD systems
- Maintain accurate radio communication with officers during active incidents
- Provide life-saving instructions via emergency medical protocols
- Coordinate with fire/EMS agencies during multi-agency responses
- Document all interactions in compliance with NIMS standards
- Operate multiple communication platforms simultaneously
- Participate in scenario-based training exercises
- Assist with departmental record-keeping and data entry
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass background check and psychological evaluation
- Basic computer literacy and typing proficiency (35+ WPM)
- Exceptional verbal communication and active listening skills
- Ability to remain calm under high-pressure situations
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Arizona driver's license
- US citizenship or permanent residency status
