Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with precision and empathy
- Dispatch police, fire, and medical units using CAD/RMS systems
- Maintain accurate incident documentation and radio logs
- Provide critical information to officers and the public
- Operate multi-channel radio equipment during high-pressure situations
- Participate in ongoing training to maintain certification standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum age 18 with valid California driver's license
- Clear background check and no felony convictions
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Basic computer proficiency with typing speed of 40+ WPM
- Ability to remain calm under emergency conditions
- U.S. citizenship or legal resident status
