Responsibilities
- Process emergency/non-emergency calls with exceptional situational awareness
- Deploy police/fire/EMS resources using advanced CAD/RAD systems
- Maintain precise call logs and incident documentation
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Deliver crisis intervention and pre-arrival instructions to callers
- Operate in 24/7 rotating shifts including nights/holidays
- Adhere to strict NIMS protocols and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- Minimum 18 years old with U.S. citizenship
- Exceptional verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to pass background check, polygraph, and drug screening
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable to new technologies
- Valid California driver's license
- Ability to remain calm under extreme pressure
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM
