- Process and prioritize 911 calls and non-emergency dispatch requests
- Operate radio systems to coordinate police, fire, and EMS responses
- Maintain accurate incident logs and computer-aided dispatch records
- Provide clear, concise instructions to callers during emergencies
- Utilize CAD software and mapping tools for efficient resource deployment
- Collaborate with cross-agency responders during critical incidents
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass background check and psychological evaluation
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with accuracy
- Strong multitasking and stress management skills
- Clear verbal communication with neutral dialect
- Basic computer proficiency (Windows OS, database systems)
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Must be 18+ years old and a US citizen
