Responsibilities
- Process emergency calls and dispatch appropriate police/fire/EMS units
- Maintain accurate radio communication with field units
- Enter and update critical information in CAD/RMS systems
- Perform multi-tasking under high-pressure situations
- Coordinate with other agencies during emergencies
- Document all call activities and incident reports
- Complete state-mandated training modules
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Clear criminal background check
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Ability to type 40+ WPM
- Strong decision-making under pressure
- Basic computer proficiency
- Valid driver's license
- Must pass psychological evaluation
