Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls using CAD systems
- Dispatch police units and coordinate emergency responses
- Maintain accurate radio communication with field personnel
- Enter and update data in law enforcement databases
- Provide crisis intervention and caller assistance
- Operate multi-channel radio systems and specialized equipment
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Basic computer proficiency with willingness to learn specialized software
- Ability to remain calm under pressure during emergencies
- Must be 18+ years old and a U.S. citizen
- Valid Kansas driver's license
