Responsibilities
- Process 911 calls and prioritize emergency responses with precision
- Dispatch police units using CAD/RMS systems during critical incidents
- Maintain accurate incident logs and documentation protocols
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during emergency situations
- Provide clear, calm communication to callers in crisis
- Monitor radio channels and maintain situational awareness
- Assist in training new dispatchers through mentorship
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Georgia driver's license
- Pass background check and polygraph examination
- Type 40+ WPM with 90% accuracy
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Basic computer literacy and tech adaptability
- No felony convictions or domestic violence charges
- U.S. citizenship or legal resident status
