Responsibilities
- Process and prioritize 911/emergency calls using CAD systems
- Dispatch police, fire, and medical units with precise location details
- Maintain accurate radio communications with field personnel
- Enter and update real-time incident data in databases
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Provide pre-arrival medical instructions via phone
- Document all interactions with meticulous detail
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 40 WPM typing certification
- Clear background check and drug screen
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Strong multi-tasking and de-escalation skills
- Basic computer proficiency with MS Office
- Valid California Driver's License
- Fluency in English (Spanish/Cantonese preferred)
