Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with speed and accuracy
- Operate multi-channel radio systems to coordinate field units
- Enter and maintain detailed incident reports in CAD systems
- Provide life-saving instructions via telephone during medical emergencies
- Collaborate with cross-agency responders (fire, EMS, police)
- Maintain situational awareness during critical incidents
- Adhere to NIMS and EMT protocols during all interactions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 1 year customer service experience
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Clear and articulate communication skills
- Type 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and computer dispatch systems
- Valid Washington State driver's license
- Pass background check and drug screening
