Responsibilities
- Receive and process emergency and non-emergency calls with high accuracy and composure.
- Dispatch law enforcement, fire, and medical units to incident locations using CAD systems.
- Maintain constant situational awareness of active calls and resource availability.
- Provide critical support to field units through clear, concise radio communication.
- Update and maintain incident records and databases accurately.
- Monitor surveillance equipment and CCTV feeds for suspicious activity.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Florida Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and decisive under high-stress situations.
- Proficiency with computers and ability to learn new software quickly.
