Responsibilities
- Receive and prioritize emergency/non-emergency calls for police, fire, and EMS services
- Operate Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems and radio equipment
- Provide clear, concise instructions to callers during critical incidents
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during emergency situations
- Maintain accurate records of all communications and incident details
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM
- US citizenship and valid Oklahoma driver's license
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/holidays
- Clear speaking voice with strong communication skills
- Ability to remain calm under extreme pressure
