Responsibilities
- Sort and Process Mail: Organize, bundle, and route mail to the correct destination efficiently and accurately.
- Deliver Packages: Transport mail and packages to residential and business addresses along designated routes.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, answer inquiries, and handle complaints with a positive attitude.
- Vehicle Operation: Safely operate postal vehicles and maintain them in a clean and roadworthy condition.
- Physical Stamina: Perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and walking up to 10 miles per day.
- Security: Protect mail and property, ensuring the security of the facility and the mail in transit.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen or have legal right to work in the United States.
- Driver's License: Valid state driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
