Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies for VA programs across North Carolina
- Manage media relations, press releases, and crisis communications protocols
- Coordinate community outreach events and veteran-focused initiatives
- Analyze public sentiment and adjust messaging strategies accordingly
- Create digital content for VA websites and social media platforms
- Leverage data analytics to measure campaign effectiveness

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field
- 3+ years of professional experience in public affairs or communications
- Demonstrated expertise with federal grant processes and compliance
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and content management systems
- Knowledge of VA regulations and federal procurement procedures
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to travel statewide
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance
