Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public health strategies aligned with CDC guidelines and Ohio Department of Health mandates
- Oversee emergency preparedness programs including pandemic response and bioterrorism protocols
- Manage health education initiatives targeting underserved populations across Cleveland neighborhoods
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and allocate resources effectively
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to improve vaccination access and chronic disease management
- Lead community health assessment projects and data-driven intervention programs
- Supervise cross-functional teams of health professionals and community liaisons
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years progressive experience in public health program management
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification within 6 months
- Expertise in health data analysis using tools like SPSS or SAS
- Demonstrated success in securing federal/state health grants (HRSA, CDC)
- Strong understanding of HIPAA, ACA compliance, and health equity frameworks
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams
- Residency in Cuyahoga County preferred
