Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health strategies across 88 Ohio counties
- Lead multi-agency initiatives addressing health disparities and emergency preparedness
- Manage $5M+ program budgets with strict federal compliance oversight
- Analyze health data trends to inform policy recommendations for state legislature
- Coordinate with CDC and federal health agencies for grant acquisition
- Supervise cross-functional teams of epidemiologists and health educators
- Represent department in public health crisis response activations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health (MPH) or Healthcare Administration
- Minimum 5 years experience in government/public health management
- Certified Public Health Professional (CPH) credential required
- Advanced proficiency in health data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Proven crisis management and emergency response leadership
- Ohio driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience managing federal/state grant-funded programs
