Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public health programs targeting communicable disease control and chronic disease prevention
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and recommend evidence-based interventions
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Oversee community health education campaigns and outreach initiatives
- Manage grant applications and compliance with federal/state health regulations
- Supervise cross-functional teams of public health professionals
- Prepare reports for government stakeholders and the public
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive public health administration experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or equivalent credential
- Proven expertise in grant writing and budget management for health programs
- Strong analytical skills with experience in epidemiological data interpretation
- Excellent communication skills with experience in stakeholder engagement
- Familiarity with Nevada state health regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
