Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health strategies for diverse communities
- Oversee emergency preparedness and pandemic response protocols
- Manage $2M+ budgets and secure federal/state grants
- Lead cross-departmental initiatives with healthcare providers and NGOs
- Analyze health data to identify disparities and inform policy decisions
- Supervise 15+ staff members and foster high-performance teams
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 5+ years progressive public health management experience
- Illinois Department of Public Health certification preferred
- Expertise in health equity frameworks and community engagement
- Proven grant-writing and budget management skills
- Valid Illinois driver's license
