Responsibilities
- Design and oversee population health programs targeting Miami-Dade's 2.7M residents
- Coordinate with federal/state agencies for pandemic response and grant compliance
- Analyze health data to identify disparities and drive evidence-based interventions
- Manage $5M+ budgets for health initiatives and community partnerships
- Lead cross-functional teams including epidemiologists, nurses, and community educators
- Develop health education campaigns for vulnerable populations across 34 municipalities
- Ensure compliance with CDC, Florida DOH, and county health regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive public health leadership experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or Healthcare Management (FACHE) preferred
- Expertise in health program development and grant-funded initiatives
- Proven ability to analyze health data using tools like SAS or Tableau
- Experience managing multi-stakeholder projects in diverse communities
- Strong knowledge of Florida public health regulations and emergency protocols
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish highly desirable
