Responsibilities
- Oversee development and implementation of community health programs and initiatives
- Ensure compliance with CDC, state, and local health regulations and standards
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify public health trends and risks
- Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders on health education campaigns
- Manage departmental budgets, resources, and grant applications
- Develop emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Supervise and mentor public health staff and volunteers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of public health administration experience
- Valid Tennessee Public Health Administrator certification
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and public health reporting requirements
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines
- U.S. citizenship and clean background check required
