Responsibilities
- Develop and implement city-wide public health strategies aligned with state and federal guidelines
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Analyze health data to identify community needs and program gaps
- Manage grant applications and compliance for public health initiatives
- Lead cross-departmental task forces on health equity initiatives
- Oversee community outreach programs targeting underserved populations
- Prepare reports for city council and state health department
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of public health administration experience
- Colorado Public Health certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Advanced knowledge of HIPAA and public health regulations
- Experience with grant writing and federal/state compliance
- Proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, Tableau)
- Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills
