Responsibilities
- Analyze complex public health data to identify trends and inform evidence-based policy recommendations
- Develop and implement community health initiatives targeting underserved populations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address emerging public health challenges
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior leadership and external stakeholders
- Monitor compliance with city health regulations and program performance metrics
- Represent the department at community meetings and interagency task forces
- Lead special projects addressing health disparities and social determinants of health
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Policy, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health analysis or program evaluation
- Proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS) and data visualization tools
- Demonstrated experience with community health assessment and intervention design
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex data clearly
- Knowledge of NYC's public health landscape and government operations
- Experience working with diverse communities and addressing health equity issues
