Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive health program evaluations using quantitative and qualitative methodologies
- Analyze complex epidemiological data to identify trends and inform public health interventions
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for state legislators and agency leadership
- Coordinate cross-agency initiatives addressing health disparities across Ohio's 88 counties
- Prepare detailed reports and visualizations for public stakeholders and governmental bodies
- Lead community needs assessments to guide resource allocation and program development
- Monitor compliance with federal health regulations (CDC, CMS) and ensure state alignment
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Policy, or related field (required)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program analysis or policy development
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS) and data visualization tools
- Strong understanding of Ohio's public health system and federal health regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated report-writing experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines in a government environment
- Valid Ohio driver's license (required for field site visits)
