Responsibilities

- Collaborate with local healthcare providers and community organizations on health initiatives
- Prepare detailed reports and policy recommendations for state health programs
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
- Conduct community needs assessments to prioritize public health resources
- Represent the department at community events and stakeholder meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health or healthcare administration
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish
- Experience with grant management and reporting processes
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Knowledge of HIPAA and public health confidentiality regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional evenings and weekends
