Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data-driven public health programs targeting community health disparities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and inform policy recommendations
- Coordinate inter-agency partnerships with healthcare providers, non-profits, and community organizations
- Prepare comprehensive grant proposals and manage federal/state compliance requirements
- Lead community outreach initiatives to promote health education and preventive care
- Conduct program evaluations using quantitative and qualitative assessment methods
- Present findings to policymakers and stakeholders through compelling reports and presentations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program development and data analysis
- Proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS) and GIS mapping tools
- Demonstrated success in securing and managing government grants
- Strong knowledge of California public health regulations and Title VI compliance
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills with diverse audiences
- Experience with community-based participatory research methods
- Valid California driver's license and ability to travel to community sites
