Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public health strategies targeting underserved communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on health emergency preparedness
- Manage grant-funded health programs and ensure compliance with federal regulations
- Conduct community outreach and stakeholder engagement initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive health impact assessments for proposed policies
- Lead health equity research and data-driven intervention design
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Valid Minnesota Public Health Practitioner license
- Demonstrated experience with community-based participatory research
- Knowledge of CDC and Minnesota Department of Health protocols
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse community stakeholders
