Responsibilities
- Design and implement community health assessment programs targeting Milwaukee's underserved populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats and trends
- Coordinate inter-agency partnerships with healthcare providers and community organizations
- Develop educational materials and outreach campaigns for disease prevention initiatives
- Monitor compliance with public health regulations and reporting standards
- Lead crisis response planning for public health emergencies
- Submit grant proposals to secure funding for health equity projects
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field required
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Proficient in statistical analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Demonstrated experience with community outreach and engagement
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license
- Ability to work evenings/weekends for community events
- Knowledge of Milwaukee County's demographic landscape
