We seek a detail-oriented Public Health Data Analyst to transform complex health data into actionable insights that drive city-wide health initiatives. Responsibilities
- Analyze population health data using statistical software (R, SAS, or Python)
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations for public health stakeholders
- Prepare comprehensive reports on health trends and disparities for city officials
- Collaborate with epidemiologists on disease surveillance and outbreak response
- Support grant writing and program evaluation through data-driven recommendations
- Present findings to diverse audiences including community partners and policymakers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Biostatistics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health data analysis
- Proficiency in SQL, R, or Python for data manipulation
- Experience with Tableau or Power BI for data visualization
- Familiarity with CDC surveillance systems and MA Department of Public Health data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive health data with strict confidentiality
