Responsibilities
- Lead epidemiological investigations and disease surveillance programs
- Develop evidence-based public health interventions for underserved communities
- Analyze health data trends and prepare actionable policy recommendations
- Coordinate multi-agency health emergency response initiatives
- Manage grant-funded projects totaling $500K+ annually
- Design and implement community health education campaigns
- Mentor junior public health professionals and interns
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field
- 5+ years of public health program management experience
- California Public Health Microbiologist certification (or equivalent)
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS/R)
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and compliance
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish preferred
- Valid California driver's license
