Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Coordinate multi-agency response efforts with local, state, and federal partners
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses for vulnerable populations
- Lead public health communication strategies during emergency events
- Manage emergency supply chains and resource deployment systems
- Train public health staff and community partners on emergency procedures
- Prepare detailed after-action reports and response improvement plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of public health or emergency management experience
- Certification in Emergency Management (CEM) or Public Health Preparedness
- Strong knowledge of NIMS/ICS frameworks and FEMA guidelines
- Excellent crisis communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license
