Responsibilities
- Develop and implement county-wide public health emergency response protocols
- Coordinate inter-agency disaster preparedness drills and real-time incident responses
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats
- Manage community vaccination distribution and mass care operations
- Train public health staff and community partners in emergency response procedures
- Prepare federal grant applications for public health emergency funding
- Lead public communications during health crises
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- 3+ years experience in public health emergency response coordination
- Certified in Incident Command System (ICS-300) or higher
- Expertise in epidemiological data analysis and visualization tools
- Strong grant writing and budget management experience
- Excellent crisis communication and stakeholder management skills
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license
- Ability to work irregular hours during emergencies
