Responsibilities
- Lead rapid response coordination for infectious disease outbreaks and public health emergencies
- Collaborate with federal, state, and local agencies to implement emergency action plans
- Develop and maintain community health surveillance systems for early threat detection
- Conduct risk assessments and provide real-time public health guidance to stakeholders
- Manage emergency supply chains and resource deployment during crisis situations
- Train public health staff on emergency protocols and incident command procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, Emergency Management, or related field
- 3+ years of public health emergency response or crisis management experience
- Certified in Incident Command System (ICS) and National Incident Management System (NIMS)
- Expertise in epidemiological surveillance and health threat analysis
- Strong communication skills for multi-agency coordination and public messaging
- Ability to work 24/7 rotational shifts during emergency activations
