Responsibilities
- Coordinate multi-agency emergency response operations during public health crises
- Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans for natural disasters and pandemics
- Conduct risk assessments for vulnerable populations and critical infrastructure
- Manage resource allocation and logistics during emergency deployments
- Train public health staff and community responders on crisis protocols
- Lead post-incident reviews and recommend systemic improvements
- Ensure compliance with federal/state emergency management regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in crisis response or public health operations
- Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or equivalent preferred
- Proven ability to coordinate multi-jurisdictional response efforts
- Expertise in incident command systems (ICS) and NIMS protocols
- Strong analytical skills for risk assessment and resource allocation
