Responsibilities
- Analyze public health data to identify emerging trends and policy gaps
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for state legislators
- Coordinate interdepartmental health initiatives and grant programs
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and legislative testimony
- Manage stakeholder engagement with healthcare providers and community organizations
- Evaluate implementation effectiveness of existing health policies
- Lead cross-functional teams on special health projects
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years of policy analysis or public health experience
- Proficient in statistical analysis software (R, SAS, or SPSS)
- Experience with Ohio state government operations preferred
- Strong written communication for policy documents and reports
- Knowledge of federal/state healthcare regulations (Medicaid, ACA)
- Valid Ohio driver's license
