Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive emergency response plans for public health crises
- Coordinate multi-agency disaster response activities including COVID-19, flu pandemics, and natural disasters
- Lead community outreach initiatives for at-risk populations during emergencies
- Analyze epidemiological data to predict outbreak trajectories and allocate resources
- Train frontline healthcare workers and community volunteers on emergency protocols
- Manage emergency supply chains and PPE distribution networks
- Prepare regular briefings for county officials and public communications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in public health emergency response or crisis management
- Certification in Incident Command System (ICS-300) or equivalent
- Expertise in epidemiological data analysis and health surveillance systems
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams under pressure
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for public messaging
- Familiarity with Philadelphia's public health infrastructure and communities
