Responsibilities
- Coordinate multi-agency emergency response operations during public health crises
- Develop and implement rapid-deployment protocols for disaster scenarios
- Lead community outreach initiatives for vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform strategic response decisions
- Manage resource allocation during emergency situations
- Train public health staff on emergency preparedness procedures
- Collaborate with federal, state, and tribal health authorities
- Prepare emergency response reports for public dissemination
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health emergency response
- Certification in Incident Command System (ICS-300)
- Experience with crisis communication and community engagement
- Knowledge of FEMA/NIMS protocols and Arizona public health statutes
- Ability to work under extreme pressure with minimal supervision
- Valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation
- Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency preferred
