Responsibilities
- Coordinate multi-agency emergency response operations during public health crises
- Develop and implement strategic communication plans for diverse communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform resource allocation and intervention strategies
- Train public health staff and community partners on emergency protocols
- Collaborate with federal/state/local officials to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Lead public awareness campaigns during health emergencies
- Prepare comprehensive after-action reports with improvement recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in public health emergency response or crisis management
- Certification in Incident Command System (ICS) or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience with cross-agency collaboration and stakeholder management
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex health data
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Knowledge of Minnesota public health regulations and federal guidelines
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel statewide during emergencies
