Responsibilities
- Develop and execute emergency response plans for public health crises
- Coordinate with CDC, state health department, and local healthcare providers
- Lead incident command operations during declared emergencies
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analysis for city infrastructure
- Train and deploy public health emergency response teams
- Manage public communications during health crises
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and FEMA guidelines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- 3+ years experience in public health emergency response
- FEMA Professional Development Series certification required
- Experience with NIMS/ICS protocols
- Strong knowledge of CDC and OSHA regulations
- Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance within 30 days
- Valid Nevada driver's license
