Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of food establishments, childcare facilities, and public swimming pools to ensure compliance with health codes
- Investigate public health complaints and outbreaks with swift, evidence-based protocols
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate digital records using our advanced tracking system
- Educate business owners and operators on health regulations through proactive consultations

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Public Health, or related field
- Current Registered Environmental Health Specialist (REHS) certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Minimum 2 years of field inspection experience in commercial food service settings
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Proficiency in digital reporting systems and mobile inspection technology
- Exceptional communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement
- Certification in food safety (e.g., ServSafe) preferred
