Responsibilities
- Coordinate city-wide emergency response protocols during public health crises
- Liaise with state/federal agencies (CDC, DHS) and community stakeholders
- Develop and execute crisis communication strategies for diverse populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform intervention strategies
- Manage resource allocation for emergency response operations
- Train public health staff and community volunteers on emergency procedures
- Prepare post-crisis reports and improvement recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- 3+ years experience in public health crisis response or government operations
- Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or equivalent certification preferred
- Proven ability to work under extreme pressure with tight deadlines
- Expertise in data analysis and incident command systems (ICS)
- Strong bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish preferred)
- Valid Minnesota driver's license and reliable transportation
