Responsibilities
- Design and execute evidence-based public health interventions targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health risks and trends
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Manage grants and budgets for health programs totaling $500K+
- Lead community outreach and stakeholder engagement initiatives
- Ensure HIPAA/FERPA compliance in all health data handling
- Mentor junior public health staff and interns
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in government/public health administration
- Valid Texas Public Health certification
- Proficiency in SPSS/R for statistical analysis
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and management
- Strong knowledge of CDC/WHO guidelines and frameworks
- Ability to obtain security clearance (US citizenship required)
- Bilingual in English/Spanish highly preferred
