Responsibilities
- Coordinate rapid deployment of public health resources during declared emergencies
- Develop and execute crisis communication strategies for vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform real-time response decisions
- Collaborate with FEMA, CDC, and state health departments on multi-agency operations
- Conduct community outreach and vaccination campaigns in high-risk areas
- Manage emergency supply chain logistics for PPE and medical resources
- Train frontline responders in public health emergency protocols
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 3+ years emergency management or epidemiology experience
- Certified in Incident Command System (ICS-300+)
- Proficient in GIS mapping and health data visualization tools
- Demonstrated crisis communication experience with diverse communities
- Valid NC driver's license and ability to work irregular hours
- FEMA Professional Development Series certification required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred
